PennFuture’s annual Pittsburgh Solar Tour encourages solar and clean energy solutions by connecting citizens to residential, commercial, and public solar installations and installers. Each year, this free event attracts more than 200 people from western Pennsylvania.

The Pittsburgh Solar Tour is held each October in conjunction with National Solar Tour month sponsored by the American Solar Energy Society and is a featured tour on the National Solar Tour.

There will be $10 three-hour guided bus tours with solar experts starting at noon at the following locations:

• The Frick Environmental Center (2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217)
• Millvale Library (213 Grant Avenue Millvale PA 15209) 

There will be a three-hour guided e-bike tour hosted by Adam Solar Resources at noon at Millvale Riverfront Park.

To conclude the event, there will be a Solar Tour After-Party from 4-6 p.m. at Hitchhiker Brewing Co., 1500 S Canal Street, Sharpsburg, PA 15215. Special thanks to the Triboro Ecodistrict for hosting!
